S'villeCo specializes in certification and recertification for foodservice managers seeking the IL Department of Public Health's foodservice manager's license.

 

IL FOODSERVICE MANAGER'S CERTIFICATE

Every business handling food must have at least one certified foodservice manager on site.  We offer the course online. It is available in English and Spanish. Complete course at your pace and convenience.  Once completed, schedule exam with a certified proctor.  Certification is valid for 5 years. 

There are 3 steps to get an IL Foodservice Sanitation Manager's Certificate (FSSMC):

  1. Take an approved national online course with Svilleco. ($100)
    1. Email suesummer37@gmail.com to register.
      Include name, address, phone number, and place of work.  
      Payment must be made in advance and NO REFUNDS are offered
      Course can be done 24/7 at own speed. 
      Available in English and Spanish.
  1. Take an approved national exam ($47-55)
    1. One-on-one online exam with Pearson Vue Testing Center.
      Go to www.pearsonvue.com/nrfsp to register, schedule, and pay fee.  
      Exam series code is ICFSM. Available in English and Spanish.

    2. One-on-one online exam with Illini Training.
      Email breutter@illinois.edu to register, schedule and pay fee.
      Available in English and Spanish.

  1. Apply for the Illinois FSSMC license. ($36)
    1. Go to https://ildph.usasafeinspect.com/Login.aspx
      Set up a user account with a user name and password.
      Log in and upload a copy of your national exam certificate.
      Pay fee of $36 with a debit or credit card.
      Once your application is submitted and approved by the IDPH, you will receive an email and can print off your IL FSSMC license, which is good for 5 years.
 

 

IL FOOD HANDLER CARD

All other food workers need the food handler card within 30 days of employment. It is available online by clicking this link or the one in the upper right hand corner of this website. Fee is $9.95. Available in English and Spanish, the course is 90-120 minutes long. Once completed, a certificate can be printed for the employer and a card for the employee. Certification is valid for 3 years.
